The Veil at the Grail
Located in a repurposed piano at the rim of the Grail, this themed bar is inspired by the delicate qualities of fungi in general, and the Fly Agaric (Amanita muscaria) specifically.
The Gong Fu Cha style of tea service (“elegant tea” or “tea made with skill”) was developed in the 1940s in ChaoZhou, Guangdong so that working class laborers could enjoy fine tea in their own way. It has since become the preferred method of enjoying tea by martial artists, Chinese elders, and tea enthusiasts around the world.
Host Chris Lum brings this special experience to the ChanTeaRelle bell tent to offer some of his finest teas, including Puers, Phoenix Oolongs, and Golden Flower tea, which is fermented with the fungus Eurotium cristatum.
Due to the limited space and popularity of this experience, RMC attendees can either sign up for reserved time slots during workshop hours or join the service on a first-come basis at various open sessions throughout the RMC.
