What is the RMC?

A four-day, family-friendly fungi festival with diverse workshops during the day time, mushroom-related entertainment as night, and a variety of immersive experience and creative events sprinkled throughout the weekend.

The RMC is family-friendly and does not emphasize psychoactive fungi. At our core, we aim to create meaningful, moving, and motivating encounters with fungi that inspire attendees to make positive change in the world.

When and where is the 2026 RMC?

The 2026 Radical Mycology Convergence will take place September 24–27, 2026 at Brown Bottle Farm in Mulino, Oregon. See more info about arriving here.

Fertile Substrate, the pre-RMC work party, will take place September 18–20, 2026.

Why is the Radical Mycology Convergence only held every-other year?

The RMC is a special event for us and one that we pour a significant amount of thought and energy into every time the planning ball gets rolling. We find great joy in watching the Convergence evolve over time, and are always excited to see how each gathering can most dynamically impact the modern mycoculture’s discourse and expressions.

In the years between gatherings, we listen, observe, and discuss how the event can most fully inspire and enliven those who attend – both in a mycological context and in relationship to the broader state of the world. Were we to hold the every year, such intentionality would not be as nuanced.

Will food and drinks be available for sale?

You betcha! Breakfast, lunch, and dinner meal options will be available for sale each day at the RMC eatery, The Spitz.

Coffee will be for sale in the mornings. Cold drinks will sold throughout the day. And various alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be available each evening.

There will also be designated cooking areas for campers (please bring your own propane cook stove).

Rustic cold shower stalls will be available for campers. Please bring your own biodegradable soap.

Is there a medical team at the RMC?

Yes! A volunteer medical team will be on duty. If you need assistance please head to the registration booth (Hyphal Tip).

Is the RMC clothing optional?

Is the site wheelchair accessible?

The terrain at the farm is uneven and there are areas with steep grading, thus we do not consider it wheelchair accessible. Read more about the RMC site here.

How can I get involved?

Whether you’re a 7-timer or this is your first RMC, we welcome everyone to take part in co-creating our community. We’re currently seeking volunteers, teachers, artists, vendors, and performers to make the 2026 Convergence the best one yet!
